Round Table “The Role of Philosophy in Education”

Institute for Philosophy and Social Theory, 4th floor at 10 h

The round table will take place on 6 October 2018 at 10AM at the Institute for Philosophy and Social Theory (Kraljice Natalije 45, 4th floor). The ongoing education reform forsees gradual discontinuation of philosophy as a mandatory subject in secondary vocational schools, but also an introduction of new electives for philosophy teachers. With respect to this, the round table will examine the role that philosophy, and logic as a philosophical discipline, could and should have in the system of education.
